I strive to be a lifetime learner in order to stay ahead of the curve and competitive in my field.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Ken McHugh and I am a graphic and web designer. Having been in the creative industry for over a decade, my priority has always been to create functional and powerful graphic solutions, while striving to move ideas forward and stay ahead of the curve. I currently manage a small team at an ad agency that specializes in healthcare recruitment marketing. We create websites, ad campaigns, brand concepts and print media, while working hand-in-hand with our account managers and clients to deliver effective, personalized results for their campaigns.

The site makes use of large-scale and spacious design, with a main focus on imagery. It boasts a photo and video gallery, as well as parallax background imagery as you scroll down each page to create a narrative and tour-like experience.
Other key features of the site include a dynamic review and testimonial carousel, provider directory, and forms to request a tour or ask general questions.

SNHH Careers Website
This site was created with the goal of boosting hires and reducing turnover rates for careers at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center where users can submit their resumes to active jobs at the company with a search powered by the client’s current applicant tracking system.
Like many of the recruitment sites output through my design agency, this one stands to attract organic inbound traffic, as well as potential candidates filtered through other media outlets we are also harnessing, including social, radio and publication advertising.
The site makes use of spacious design elements that harness multiple sliders, large background imagery, and overlaying text to make strong, quick points as the user scrolls through the page. Another goal of this healthcare based recruitment site is to sell the geographical area as well as the job.
